We were a group of 17 adults and teenagers that stayed a week in July, 2023, and let me start by saying that the pictures in no way reflect the reality of the house and grounds. It is much better, bigger, more spacious and cool. It also feels like a real home rather than a holiday rental. Lots of space for everyone, plenty of things to do, including obviously the large pool and the games in the pool house. We spend most of the time by the pool and at the table in the garden, and taking trips to the many interesting points of interest within an hour’s drive.
The kitchen is spacious and extremely well equipped and easy to cook for so many people in. We got fresh bread and croissants from the bakery next door, and some emergency wine and necessities from the tiny shop in the village.
All in all it was one of the best holidays ever, and I can highly recommend a holiday in this beautiful house. The only thing to be aware of is that the three rooms in the gite do not have air conditioning, and with temperatures as high as they were in July, it was very warm during the nights.
